THE LATEST BIT OF NEWS...

 

New Bern - SUMMER CHALLENGE WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!

With the help of Journey, The Christian Walk and their van usage we averaged about 15 people each day as we traveled to all kinds of cool locations around Eastern NC. My personal favorites were the Coast Guard Station in Hobucken NC, The Beach for fishing & Swimming, The Kinston Indians game and Cherry Point just to name a few. The kids had a great time with their mentors on these adventures and our staff did tremendous.... thanks to everyone who participated - I can't wait till 2009!!

 

MENTOR OF THE QUARTER - every quarter we acknowledge a mentor who continues to go the extra mile with their client. If you would like to nominated someone for this award this coming quarter please do the following 1)write their name on a piece of paper and 2) describe briefly why they deserve the award and then place to paper in the box at the LeChris office... thanks

'Le'Chris & Journey' would like to invite any family that would like to receive the support of loving and caring people. Family Enrichment is your opportunity to come together once a week, with other families for a light meal, encouragement and family support.

Mentors In the midst of your work keep in mind that you are working with real people who have real needs and feelings. Make it your goal to be sensitive to these needs and in tune with the people you are serving.

*IMPORTANT DATES

All Newest Employees hired - 'ORIENTATION ('O') MEETING'

Mandatory - Orientation Meeting - for all new employees hired since the last Orientation meeting. This meeting is held, as needed, for clarification purposes on job details for the newest hired employees.

You must attend the one Orientation Meeting held following your hire at Le'Chris

(just one time).
